Undeniable Healing. Typical Jesus!
Krishna Bahadur lives in the western parts of Nepal, in an area called Gorkha, and in a village called Masel. He had been paralyzed for five years. He was a Hindu and practiced all the rituals that Hindus are required by witch doctors to do. Goats had to be sacrificed, chickens, eggs, pigeons and more. Buddhist monks also tried to help him, but to no avail. No matter how much money he spent on this, his health condition only got worse. Finally, he was taken to the best hospital in Nepal’s capital, Kathmandu. After a few days there, the family was told by the doctor that there was nothing they could do for him. So they had to take him back to his hometown, where he lay in bed and could not move.
One day an evangelist not too far from the lame man’s place heard about his situation. The evangelist’s name is Daud. He then went to the Masel village, where he found Krishna Bahadur in bed. The sick man was just waiting to die. Daud shared the gospel with the whole family, saying that if they would accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord, he would heal Krishna of his illness. After this, he led them in a prayer of salvation, and all the rest of the night Daud kept praying for Krishna. When morning came, the young evangelist could see signs of improvement in the patient. Daud left them but promised to come again the next week. When he returned, he was truly surprised to find Krishna now sitting up in bed, which he had not been able to do for the past five years. Daud prayed for him again, and at the same time he broke and burned all the idols and objects related to ancestor worship in the house, from which the family had tried to seek help. After that he took them to the local church. Within a period of three months, Krishna was completely healed; he is now in good shape and able to work on the land. His entire family has accepted the grace of God. The other villagers who have seen this miracle have now come to know that Jesus is the true and living God. They have not yet accepted, but by the grace of God the day may come when this entire village will come to know Jesus as the true living God that He is.
